I have a passion for history, and enjoy learning, teaching, and preserving local history. I have a particular interest in preserving first hand accounts of local history, and sharing history with people of all ages.
I love to combine my technology background with my other interests through the use of podcasts and social media. I use these platforms to share information of legal topics and local events to better strengthen my community.
I am an attorney, licensed in both State and Federal court. My primary practice is in criminal defense work. I take great pride in defending the constitutional rights of citizens, and enjoy greatly presenting cases before the Court.
I am an Adjunct Professor at Volunteer State Community College. I teach Criminal Justice courses that include Criminal Law, Evidence and Criminal Procedure, Introduction to Criminal Justice, and Investigative Report Writing. Teaching these students in one of the most rewarding tasks I have ever done. I strive to bring as much of the real world scenarios and events into my teaching as possible.
